Have you setup the site in a subdirectory? You can overcome the issue after making changes in editor plugin settings. In there you need to choose absolute URL instead of relative URLs.

When you write a question, you have the option of inserting an image onto the same "page", using the editor. When the question is displayed during the quiz, the image does not show, but there is an icon indicating that an image should be there. Screenshot attached with a yellow arrow pointing to the icon.
