vMap upgrade to 1.9.0 failure

Please download and install the latest version i.e. 1.9.1, It will resolve the issue...

I have just upgraded from vMap 1.0.0 to 1.9.0 and now get the following error in the backend when I go to Components > vMap.

1054 Unknown column 'sstatus' in 'field list' SQL=select `sstatus` from `#__vmap`

I could not find any instructions on how to upgrade so I just re-installed the latest package (pkg_vmap1.9.0.zip). Was that the correct way to upgrade?
