VMap module causes Joomla site to crash was created by bosscon1
Hello all,
I have Joomla 3.8.12
Newest VMap component/module 1.9.6
Module on frontpage of my site has always worked until last week. I had updated the marker database (with approx. 200 records with X/Y coordinates) to a larger list of items (approx. 350 items with X/Y coordinates) and the upload was successful. upon refresh the whole website went down. I was able to retrieve this error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 61839002 bytes) in /public_html/****.com/modules/mod_vmap/tmpl/default.php on line 29
I tried to fix this error on my own by hacking a few allocating more memory in a few index.php files and ended up breaking my site altogether so I had to rollback the site to fix it. So, can VMap only handle a certain amount of records? What can I do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated because I like the feel of this app and it has worked well for several years.
Thx
