Update instructions

Where do I find update instructions in the documentation for the vData component?
I do not want to automatically assume that you just install the new version over the old.
Also, where is the changelog for vData?

You have the Changelog in Admin directory inside com_vdata component folder.

When I try to upgrade to the latest version [2.9.8] using Extensions > Install, I get the following:

Extension Install: Another package is already using the named folder: /administrator/manifests/packages/vdata. Are you trying to install the same extension again?

Error
Error installing package

If this isn't how to update the extension please advise how this is done.

My subscription has not expired.

Please download the latest package i.e. 2.9.9, Hopefully you won't find the issue with this package. If you still do, Please share your backend & FTP login credentials via Contact us form, We'll look into it.

Thank you I was able to update from v2.2.1 to v2.9.9 without and installation error.
