Installation issue with vData was created by Jörg Bieri
Hi I have installation Problems with vData and Joomla. I replayed this today multiple times and it is clear now to me:
- I install a fresh Joomla 3.6.5 on my web-server using PHP 5.6
- I install vData, all works fine
- I redo my Joomla installation but using PHP 7.0
- I reinstall vData and get an installation error
So I wonder if vData is PHP 7.0 ready and if yes, which SQL driver should I use (PDO?)

I was preparing a test Environment and noticed the following:
- The component installs when I use the MySQLi driver
- The component fail installation when I use PDO driver
So it looks like your component can not handle PDO while it can handle MySQLi. Does this help to dig into the issue of do you still require a test installation so you can Play around yourself?
