Here It's quite obvious that you are trying to insert same articles again which already exist in your database.
And I've already stated in my previous messages, what you need to do if you are intending to update existing articles and insert the new one. Here It is again:
"If you are intending to update the Articles, then there is an option in Profile settings to choose Insert or Update operation, choose update over there and If you choose update then you must have primary key field in your data file i.e. ID in case of Joomla articles."
So just make sure you have chosen "Update" in "Operation" parameter, "Include" in "ID" parameter and have the "ID" column exported in your CSV file.
Thanks

Here is what I need - I need all newer articles migrated into the newer system.
I need all existing articles updated as their content may be have been changed, etc.
Then I need the same done for the classifieds and events. This is so difficult to complete. I don't understand what I am doing wrong or why this can't just work out of the box.
Please help!

"You are importing the articles which are already in your Database. Please remove existing articles from your data file and then try importing."
If you are intending to update the Articles, then there is an option in Profile settings to choose Insert or Update operation, choose update over there and If you choose update then you must have primary key field in your data file i.e. ID in case of Joomla articles.

Please download the latest vData package, It has got Profile wizard section which can be used to search and create import / export profiles with predefined settings. And try if now you can get it to work. You can also find the documentation here. It has been updated for latest changes in vData.
