Can't import categories

Hello,
replied to your email, Please do not post messages at multiple places, It would delay the response process.

I attempted to import categories via database and via csv however it failed in both cases.
Failure message:

Import abort with exception
DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time string (1) at position 0 (1): Unexpected character
