Hello,
You can call the URL without username & password appended to it and rather send these parameters via Post method over HTTPS. And You can feel free to ask us for any customisation via Contact us form. We are always here to assist in every way possible.

Restrict / Secure access to feed was created by Ken Lee
Dear Support,
I could use mysite.com/index.php?option=com_vdata&ta...ort&type=xxxxxxxxxxx
However, anyone who knows this URL can call the feed.
If I set access to "Registered", I could append user and password to access.
However, user name and password in the URL are still world-readable even with HTTPS. Basically it is not a secure communication.
What is your recommended way of restricting access to my feed to a particular user? e.g. by IP address?
Thank you.
