if I use file import is sayes import ok, but there is nothing thats been imported from the test URL.

I found 1 "diffrent"
If I choose "remote server" it failes, and sayes "file not found"

If I choose a file, it sates "imported ok"

I have testet in this URL.
www.xmlfiles.com/examples/simple.xml

Any news?

vData should be able to grab json and xml from url? anr transform it into mysql?

some addon/corrections...

I tryed it on J3, and now J2.5
1) Json
I am trying to import from wounderground.
the url is...
api.wunderground.com/api/ geolookup/conditions/forecast/q/Norway/Oslo.json

I get the next page / "import details" witch shows all my database fields, but in the "mapped fields2 there is no data...

2) xml
I am trying to import from api.met.no
the url is:
api.met.no/weatherapi/locationforecastlt....56;lon=10.43;msl=94

I get error "XML not found"

I am trying to import data from the 2 weather providers....

Any tips?

Hi,

I am trying to grab info from a webpage with xml format, and a webpage with json.
Both are giving me the error - "Enter File Path - Import Failed"

What am I doing wrong?

(The one source is json from wounderground wetather api
the other is from api.met.no)

Please help.
