Import User Issues

I am trying to import users from a Joomla 2.5.28 site over to my new Joomla 3.4.8 site. I can connect to the 2.5.28 database, I match the columns up and select "Import Now", after only importing one user the process errors out.

This is the error I get:


Import abort with exception

Table 'feathe91_sg.A' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT A.* FROM A JOIN kgb5j_users ON A.user_id = kgb5j_users.id WHERE kgb5j_users.id=346

I have tried several different ways to make this work, if I keep hitting the import user button it does add a user each time. This site has about 1700 users so this is not a practical approach. The passwords are also not being transferred, the user groups are showing up blank.

I am not very happy with this product unless someone can point me in the right direction.

Thank you very much, your assistance is very much appreciated. I have checked and all the users appear to be there and working. I have the site members checking their login now.
