Hi Zaheer,

I downloaded the new package from My Order and still didn't worked.

I created a copy of the annotation chart (and tried a completely new one) .. add data field, save and close.
Go back and data field gone again.

I noticed the package size is exactly the same as before 750,898 bytes. Is it under My Order/Download?
If yes.. we still have the same problem.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated

Thx

Hello again,

Sorry for late reply. I was able to replicate the same problem on my public server which is completely different system.

****

I copied the annotation chart, use the new one, add a new data field, save and close.
I go back to the same vchart and the data field i just created before is gone.

Thanks for your help

Hi,
For the issue in Screenshot 1, you must have first column in Date format, It will resolve the issue. And for another Issue, We tried many times but couldn't recreate the issue at our end. Please make it available on server for testing purpose, so that we can access and correct the issue.

Thanks
Daniel

Hi again,

Thanks for the last reply. I re-downloaded the package and I can add values and the annotation
chart is displaying correctly.

HOWEVER! If I go back to the backend, all my data fields are gone!

I put all the values from January to December, save it -> display perfectly.
Went back to the backend to modify an existing data field but all data fields are gone.

I saved the chart itself and the whole chart is empty when displayed on the screen

" First column must contain date, or date and time.× "

Your help would be appreciated again.

Thanks

Hello

Unfortunately the site is located inside network (intranet) and not accessible from Internet.

Is there any data or logs I can forward?

Thx

I forgot to mention something important.

If I make the changes (add new data field, etc) and use the "PREVIEW" button, the chart is displayed correctly with the new fields. However, as soon I save the changes, I'm getting the error in the frontend.

vChart Fatal error: Cannot use object ..error was created by Stephane Vai
Hi all,

I'm trying to modify an existing vChart Annotation chart (copied the default one to a new one).

Everytime I'm adding a new DATA FIELD. I'm getting an error: (see first screenshot)
I can change the existing data field values (chart displayed correctly) but adding a "new" data field caused error.

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type stdClass as array in C:\Program Files (x86)\GNU\Joomla\beta1\administrator\components\com_vchart\helper\vChart.php on line 2551

The new data field is consistent with the existing data fields.

Also, when I go back to the backend, ALL data fields are gone. (see second screenshot)
I had over 10+ data fields and they are all gone.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thx
