Virtuemart has got Manufacturer, categories and custom fields. First you need to decide which field can be used for Brand, printer family and model e.g. For Brand you can use Manufacturer, for Printer family categories and be used and for Printer Model you can use custom fields. Or you can use custom fields for both Printer family and Model if these fields are not dependant on each other.
