Redirect link question

The Jed mentions the facility to redirect the read more link. But I can not see this. I was intending to use the module to display short article with picture that directs users to articles or items that on many different components. Can this do that. Or are you able to advise what can.

There is an option in back end to show hide read more link, Please check the module parameters.
