We are going to release k2 specific plugin for HexData very soon, which will provide you much more flexibility and much more simpler input format to import/export your data

To import data in extra fields you need to input it in json format like below

[{"id":"1","value":"test"},{"id":"2","value":"2"}]

Please let me know the field types you want to import in, then I would be able to explain it a bit better.
