vChart - Connecting to external database was created by jd henderson

Having difficulty with the "Chart Data Other Database" feature.

The feature seems unresponsive. It doesn't matter what I place in the fields. It always points to the inherent joomla database.

Could you explicitly outline any possible solutions?
