K2 to Core Joomla Content Migration was created by Peter Burnett
Hi,
Can the hexdata plug in be used to carry k2 items to core joomla articles? This is what I would like to do, for various reasons.
Thanks.

I am sorry but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Is there documentation? I tried it earlier and all I did was wipe my k2 articles, and had to kickstart an akeeba backup to get them back!
How do I start? I am using 2.5.

Hi,
You need to create two profiles to migrate the contents from k2 to joomla default articles.
1. Create a profile to export content from k2
2. Create another profile to import content in joomla default artciles
Export all the required fields you want to migrate from k2 to joomla articles along with
published, alias, access, language, created, created_by etc
If you are still not able to migrate the content, Please send us your back end login credentials at support@hexsystechnologies.com, we'll look into it
Thanks
Danish

Hi, I just bought your Component with the hope, that this could help to fix my problem. But somehow I can't figure out how to export the K2 files from my Joomla 2.5 website to my new Joomla 3.1 website. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'd happy to pay for a working solution!
