Best way to export Categories and Articles

Yes You need to first import categories and then articles, And articles will hook up with the same categories as long as you import the same catid exported from the other site.

I have a Joomla 3.3.6 site that I will be exporting only articles and categories. And then will import those same categories and articles into a new joomla 3.3.6 site.

What is the best workflow to do this.

Do I export the categories first, then the articles?

I assume the articles will hook up with their same categories from the old site (assuming the ID's stay the same.)

I'll be reading other posts on this forum to see if there are posts related to this process.
