Importing new articles

I'm using hexdata to mass import never before entered articles, what should I enter if anything in "id" and "asset_id" columns.

I initially looked at the last article and went from there but reimporting I was one off and not the url's are mis matched, I made a bit of a mess but going forward, what's the best practice?

Thanks for contacting us. If the CSV file you are trying to import isn't exported from Joomla site then you don't need to put anything in asset_id and id...
