importing using XML

you didn't map any field. You need to map all the fields e.g. parent_id, title, alias etc.

Another day is passing... I purchased this software on Saturday of last week with the hopes of a quick install. Please understand the reason for the purchase is because I have 0 experience with database and transferring anything. I hope the next response is based on this problem being resolved. If you know what to do, please give complete instructions or a picture with complete instructions on how to import joomla category xml and articles. This should not be a 5 day process. The documents are not clear as your instructions are not either.
