But now I can't Update the articles using the same method.

To update the existing records you need to add corresponding Primary Key value i.e. ID in your CSV file

I see now.

So in this thread, you had set the ID to skip.

But now I can set the ID to Data File, export, edit, then re-import.

I was editing the original csv and then just trying to reimport.

And if I want to only ADD new articles, I have to set the ID to skip again before I import, right?

Yes you need to skip that to add new articles
