Database error

After installing 2.51 we are unable to use the component. We are getting the following error and would like to know how to fix it?


1054 - Unknown column 'lead_generate_shows' in 'field list' SQL=select id,description,quizzes_title,lead_generate_shows,lead_generate_mendatory,input_mobile,input_email,input_name from #__vquiz_quizzes where id ='35' and access in (1,1,2,3,6) and startpublish_date <= '2017-02-23' and (endpublish_date >= 2017-02-23 or endpublish_date=0000-00-00) and published =1

I am not able to give you access to my database... IS there any other way to fix this? This started with the new release 2.5.1. When tried to install it we got an odd error that we posted in the forum.

We was not able to install 2.5.1 as a package so my partner unzipped the file and install the component and modules one at a time. And now we are getting the database error...

Before my partner remove vQuiz from our system I would like to to see if we can fix this database and update problem. Being that this is the first time we are using you component and to run into two major errors is something we try our best to avoid.

Now you did state you was releasing a new version in a couple of days... But we have not seen it only version 2.5.1 is the only one we can download...

If you know of away that does not require us giving you direct access to our Database thats the option we feel more comfortable using...

We uninstalled version 2.5.1 and reinstalled 2.5.0... And will wait for the updated version you mention in your other post.

You can use version 2.5.1 as well., You just need to follow the instruction shared via Email.
