Email results/certificate

Is it possible to automatically email the results and or the certificate to another person?

With another person do you mean not to the person who has taken the Quiz? If this is what you mean then right now, this feature isn't available. The certificate can only be sent to the Quiz taker for now. However, can be customized for you. Please contact our Sales team via Contact us -> Request a Quote form for customization.

What I am trying to do is send the exam administrator the students results
this can be in addition to the candidate or instead of.

Worse case - the candidate reads the result on the screen after the exam then receives an email from the exam administrator with his certificate - but for this case I cannot see how to send the exam administrator his results so that they can send the certificate.

You have the option in vQuiz configuration to choose how to send the certificate. There are three options:

1. Download certificate button on the result page
2. Automatic Email ( User will get an email automatically once the Quiz is completed )
3. Admin by Email ( Admin will manually send the certificate to the Quiz take from Administrator Quiz result section.

And you also have the control on Result page content, you can choose what to display and what not using the dynamic template in vQuiz configuration.

So to confirm your point 3
When a candidate submits their quiz there is no way for the Administrator to know that the exam has been taken? - without the Administrator logging into the web site?

I understand once the Administrator logs into the web site there is the full result information available to them

It would be a good idea to send an email to the administrator with at least the information that the quiz had been taken, even better if the email included the results

This would be helpful especially if the Administrator has other jobs to carryout in their busy day and not be continually logging onto the quiz web site to see if a quiz has been taken

(this happens in other quiz software I have used)
