I'm attempting to import categories into a brand new site with only 1 pre-existing category, with a unique alias completely different from any category on the site I am exporting from. When I try to import, I get this message:
Another category with the same parent category has the same alias (remember it may be a trashed item).
Import Failed
I have checked Trash & Archives on the new site & no other categories exist. Please advise.
Hi,
Please check if root category is there in the exported data. If It's there, please remove it from the CSV file ( if CSV is chosen ) else add a filter in category profile on id to not export the root category.
