I have figure that I have some kind of character encoding issue but I'm not sure how to fix it. For example, when I export articles using the default Joomla profiles, I get an unreadable file. I have figured with an online conversion tool that the file is encode in ASCII.
Why this is happening? I'm really not famillar with character encoding but I guess it have something to do with my french windows. Is there a setting in Joomla or my database I have to change?
I'm able to import my csv file with no problem but I'd like to be able to use the export also.
Any suggestion?
